We recently teamed up with the fabulous Janine from SA Weddings to create a mystical, wintery-white wedding styled shoot and just had to share the beautiful results, especially while it’s still so chilly here in Cape Town.
This exquisitely styled wedding photo-shoot, was coordinated and styled by Janine Mollentze of SA Weddings, and took place at the stunning Belair Country House.
The model, Thabisile, from Topco Model Agency, flaunted a variety of snow-white dresses from esteemed Cape Town dress designer Elbeth Gillis, such as an elegant white ballgown with Chantilly lace detail around the shoulders and a small belt around the waist, as well as a whimsical white cotton lace dress, and an A-line white dress, covered in a delicately detailed lace layer.
To finish the model’s bridal look, her hair and makeup was expertly done by Makeup Sphere.
The winter wonderland atmosphere was further created through the use beautiful décor, styled for the occasion. Various winter elements were used, such as a white fringe backdrop, beautiful white snowflake lanterns, and opulent candleholders. For a fun, wedding-y touch, white lacey bunting was added as a backdrop. All of these fabulous items were supplied by yours truly; Nicolette Weddings.
Modern ghost tiffany chairs were also added for an icy effect, and were supplied by An Elegant Affair. The beautiful white and deep red stationary was custom designed and supplied by Madre Kohn Creative, and the sophisticated dishes were created by Two Chefs. The beautiful white cake, decorated with red berries, was made by the talented Kanya Hunt.
All these frosty elements came together beautifully to create a stunning scene that reminded me somewhat of the Snow White and the Huntsman movie. Luckily, Blink Photography was there to capture these beautiful images of the winter wedding scene which we have shared with you today.
