Cape Town Wedding Planner Reflection: Kim & Carlos’ Intimate Celebration
We’re delighted to share the pictures we took at another one of our smaller and more intimate weddings. These pictures were taken at Kim and Carlos’ big day, just to share some of the decor elements used to make their wedding a special one.
The couple opted for a look that was casual, relaxed, minimul, yet still pretty and romantic, and I’d like to think that, as their Cape Town weddiner planner, we hit the nail on the head with this one!
The happy couple’s wedding reception was planned using nuetral and wood coloured tones, and to do this, we used wooden chairs, white table cloths and only white flowers with plenty of greenery in glass vases on the tables.
We also added floating paper lanterns with light bulbs inside them above the guest tables to add a height to the room, as well as the right ambiance that only chinese lanterns can add to a celebration.
Lastly, to mirror the glowing lights overhead, we also added plenty of small fairy light candles in glass votives on the tables to bring a casual sense of romance to the tables. The lanterns, lights, candles and flowers all worked together prefectly to create the casual, yet romantic atmosphere that Kim and Carlo’s wanted for their special day!
